For the past two years, a grand jury has been investigating six of the eight Roman Catholic dioceses across Pennsylvania after allegations of child sexual abuse have surfaced. After hundreds of hours of testimony from abuse survivors, the sealed report reveals decades of abuse by Catholic priests and the attempts by church leaders to hide this information from the public.

The redacted report presents very disturbing details. It details a cycle of sexual abuse and cover-up that occurred in six of Pennsylvania’s eight dioceses, including right here in Scranton.
