Research and Writing Attorney

Job Overview

Fellerman & Ciarimboli Law P.C., is seeking a full-time Staff Attorney with a Research & Writing focus to join its litigation team in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Remote candidates will also be considered.
Fellerman & Ciarimboli is a trusted, multidisciplinary law firm that has served clients throughout Eastern Pennsylvania since 2000. Built on integrity, respect, and a proven record of success, the firm is committed to seeking justice for the injured.
Due to a growing caseload, the firm is seeking an attorney to provide research and writing support for upcoming litigation matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build or expand experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation while working closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and case evaluations for upcoming cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Assist senior attorneys with the preparation and management of personal injury and medical malpractice matters.
• Prepare for depositions, including researching issues and organizing supporting materials.
• Assist with trial preparation, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on litigation strategy.
• Attend hearings, conferences, and court appearances as needed.
• Maintain organized files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain professionalism in all communications.

Cases may include:
• Medical Malpractice
• Motor Vehicle Accidents
• Premises Liability
• Slip/Trip and Fall Claims
• Workers’ Compensation Matters
• Other Personal Injury Litigation

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Pennsylvania law license and good standing.
  • Approximately 1–6+ years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Personal injury and/or medical malpractice experience is a plus.
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Deposition and courtroom experience are beneficial but not required.

Fellerman & Ciarimboli Law P.C., is looking to hire a full-time Paralegal to join their team in Kingston, PA. Fellerman & Ciarimboli is a local trusted, multidisciplinary law firm that has been serving the legal needs of clients throughout Eastern Pennsylvania since 2000.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Paralegal to provide administrative, clerical, and client support in a fast-paced law firm environment. This role encompasses legal and records support and requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, answer and direct phone calls, and manage client communications with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule and manage attorney calendars, appointments, and reminders.
• Maintain and organize client case files, both electronic and paper.
• Prepare basic legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
• Perform data entry and maintain case management systems.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of all legal and client information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or certificate in paralegal studies highly preferred. Candidates with relevant work experience and currently pursuing paralegal studies may also be considered.
  • 2 years of estate administration experience required.
  • Prior legal or administrative office experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; legal practice management software experience a plus.
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of basic legal preferred.
