Attorney l is a 1995 graduate of Widener University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992.  He has practiced in Northeastern Pennsylvania since 1999, representing personal injury clients arising from vehicular accidents, defective products, premises liability, medical malpractice, slip and fall cases, and insurance bad faith.

Attorney Wassel is a member of the Luzerne County Law and Library Association and serves as a member of its Executive Committee.  He also serves on the Bench Bar Committee.  Attorney Wassel is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and is past President and a current Board Member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Attorney Wassel is a member of the Planning Committee for the John Heinz/Allied Services Autism Classic, which raises funds for pediatric autism patients.  Additionally, Attorney Wassel has served as co-chair of the Organizing Committee of the Wilkes Barre Law & Library Association Summer Outing, which raises funds for the Luzerne County Bar Charitable Foundation.

Attorney Wassel and his wife, Melissa, reside in Jenkins Township with their two children, Gabrielle and Tyler.
